Processing your slides and negatives

Your slides are processed twice (manually and electronically) before and after scanning. By default, we offer you 2 options for scanning slides:

1. Our slide and negative scanning service aims to reproduce the original document in its entirety and as closely as possible at the time of scanning without necessarily seeking to improve it. However, our professionals will seek to improve the dusting and the sharpness of the images to obtain the best result with the scanning. and
2. Our slide scanning service aims to improve the images as they are scanned by our software. We will seek to improve: 

• Sharpness - sharpens the edges of different areas of your image; 
• Detraming - removes the ripple effect that sometimes characterizes subtly shaded image areas, e. g., flesh tones;
• Color restoration - automatically restores the colors of faded photos;
• Dust removal - automatically removes dust traces from originals;
• Enhance color - enhances the red, green or blue tones of the scanned image.
